Brand strategy, name and visual identity for a new digital review platform for performance arts in the low countries.
Alverata is the typeface of the identity. Alverata is a twenty-first-century typeface whose design is inspired by capitals in inscriptions from the Romanesque period (c. 1000–1200). Alverata performs beautifully in both digital and physical applications, delivering excellent openness and legibility in small text and proving lively and attractive at large sizes. Designed by Gerard Unger and released in 2014.
