While Museum Mayer van den Bergh renews and expands its galleries, the collection remains visible to the public. For the temporary exhibition Beloved, 90 artworks — including Bruegel’s iconic Mad Meg — have moved to the nearby Maagdenhuis.
Forty-three museum enthusiasts each selected a personal favourite work and share their perspective on it. Together, they create an intimate, human dialogue with the collection — an invitation to look, rediscover, and see anew.
Our graphic design for the exhibition translates this personal perspective into a clear and accessible visual language. Subtle typography and restrained colour choices support the story of closeness and wonder — an ode to seeing through someone else’s eyes.
