This Antwerp-based design studio approaches architecture as a cultural process: curious, critical, and always rooted in context. Their work is serving, generous, and sustainable — they design robust structures that can adapt over time, through different uses and generations of inhabitants.

We translated that same vision into their website: clear, vibrant, and intuitive. With playful navigation and colourful accents, the site reflects the human and idiosyncratic character of their work. Each project is given space to breathe — just like in their architecture.

Colour as a Signature

At KOMAAN! architects, colour is an essential part of who they are and how they work. Their designs radiate vibrancy and spontaneity. We’ve consciously carried that through into their online presence.

While many architecture websites opt for a sleek, black-and-white aesthetic, we deliberately chose a colourful approach. The changing background colours on the project pages reflect not only the individuality of each design, but also the fresh, human-centred approach that defines KOMAAN!

Colour is present in their work, their interiors, their way of thinking. So it’s no coincidence that the website feels just as bold, distinctive and full of energy as their projects.
