Annual Report 2007, 2008

This report has the same design and features as the previous annual report of the Port Authority. Also in this case we used three types of paper. For the first, narrower, part we used TheVolume of Arctic Paper and the transparent paper Reprobank. Image and text were separated —texts on TheVolume, pictures on Reprobank— but through the choice of the paper there was still a relationship, a connection. On Reprobank you pull the images together and you get a coherent whole. On top of that, the transparency creates an interaction between the images and text pages.

In the second part, the direct and powerful images of Jimmy KETS appear best on The Volume. The texts, tables and charts of the annual accounts were printed in orange on a black background. By using an uncoated paper (Olin) this was not distant and hard but warm and soft.
