City Museum
In 2010, the MAS, or in full the ‘Museum aan de Stroom’, will finaly open the doors. Preparations are already running for a long time, but in September 2006 the MAS reached an important milestone: the first stone was laid. At the spot where the MAS is now, once stood the monumental Hanzehuis or Oostershuis, that was twice as large as the MAS. The new museum is built in the old port on the 'Eilandje'. It gets a 60 meter high tower and is a new landmark in the city. Neutelings-Riedijk Architects (NL) were responsible for the design of the building.
Catapult took care of the corporate indentity of the MAS, taking into account the existing branding of the City of Antwerp. Furthermore, also posters, books, brochures and a newsletter were designed.
